ABOUT ABOUT

Marty's Mercantile is hosting a BACKYARD BBQ

- FARE:  Each ticket buys dinner and a designated, marked spot in our backyard.  We are proud to welcome our friend Kevin Vines and his famous Blue Smoke BBQ Co. He will be serving your choice of BBQ pulled chicken sandwich, pulled pork sandwich or vegan burgers, sourced from The Green Palate as well as fresh NY corn and cole slaw.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  WE WILL BEGIN SERVING DINNER AT 5:30, SO IF YOU'D LIKE TO ARRIVE EARLY TO EAT, YOU ARE WELCOME TO DO SO.

- DRINKS:  Coffee, soda, water, beer, wine and cider will be available for purchase on premise.

- WEATHER:  If it rains, the BBQ will take place on Sunday, September 13th.  Tickets are non-refundable.

- COVID-19 RULES:  This BBQ will take place outside in the Marty's Mercantile backyard.  The backyard lawn will be lined to create safe, socially-distanced spaces more than 6 feet apart.  We ask all attendees to wear masks when moving through the yard, but allow for the removal of masks when you're in your designated marked space.  Even though the BBQ is outside we will cap attendance so we can more safely and easily adhere to NY COVID-19 spacing guidelines.

- SEATING:  Please bring your own chairs or blankets as many of our available seats are lawn seats.  And of course, please don't forget your masks.

- PARKING:  Park anywhere off to the side of the road on 28A.  You can also park at Davis Park around the corner and walk down Lang Rd. to the Marty's Mercantile backyard.

- INCIDENTAL MUSIC:  The Mammals are from New York’s storied Hudson Valley carrying on the work of Pete Seeger & Woody Guthrie with a deep original repertoire, searing American roots sound, and a message of hope for humanity.

Known for their jubilant shows, The Mammals deftly move from older-than-dirt banjo duets to sound-the-alarm topical fare that’s right in line with the times, bouncing from hoe-downs to hear-a-pin-drop acappella balladry. Their new album is ‘Nonet’
